Guest Speaker – Rancho Burro Donkey Sanctuary
You are invited to join us at our next TOO SLO chapter meeting. Our guest speaker will be Rancho Burro Donkey Sanctuary. Their mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and give lifetime homes to abused, abandoned, and neglected donkeys and mules. They strive to create positive change in our community through various initiatives and educational programs sharing the healing and goodness of donkeys. We will also go over the chapter business and the results of our Reptile Show. Food and drinks will be provided. We do invite non-members to visit and learn more about the SLO chapter of CTTC. If you can’t attend in person, we can provide a ZOOM link to watch the meeting. Please message the club so you can get the link before Tuesday’s meeting. Hope to see you at the meeting. The TOO SLO Chapter of the California Turtle and Tortoise Club is hosting the 31st Annual Reptile Show.
Bring the family to San Luis Obispo’s only large educational show that will have turtles, tortoises, snakes, lizards, and other exotic animals on display with local experts to help answer any questions.
Meet and learn about other local conservation groups. Care and adoption information will be available if interested in becoming a reptile owner. Enter the raffle for some great reptile themed prizes. Hope to see you at the show!

You are invited to join us at our next TOO SLO chapter meeting. Pacific Wildlife Care will be our guest speaker. Pacific Wildlife Care has been an advocate for wildlife in San Luis Obispo since 1984. Pacific Wildlife Care is San Luis Obispo County’s only licensed rehabilitation center that cares for injured birds, mammals, and reptiles. They will be talking about their organization and showing a long-eared owl. We will also review the chapter’s business. Food and drinks will be provided. The chapter is happy to announce that our guest speaker for this month will be Woods Humane Society. Their mission is to serve, protect and shelter homeless companion animals; to place animals into humane environments; to promote responsible pet ownership, provide humane education, and reduce animal overpopulation; and to celebrate the human-animal bond. They are based in San Luis Obispo. Please come to our meeting to learn about their organization and see why it is an animal care leader in our community. We will also go over the chapter business including the results of our Reptile Show that took place on 9/14/2024. Food and drinks will be provided. We do invite non-members to visit and learn more about the SLO chapter of CTTC. If you can’t make the meeting in person, then you can join through the Zoom Meeting.
